Late Night Line Up is BACK! We’ve carefully cherry-picked a selection of the Festival’s most available comedy acts and star MCs to create four uniquely flavoured line-ups.

These nights sell out, so buy tickets for all your friends. They’ll definitely pay you back.

Come a little early to make sure you get the best seats in the house.

THURSDAY 12 MARCH

MC - James Mustapic

ACTS

Henry Yan

Jack Ansett

Liv McKenzie

Join Dunedin’s prodigal comedy superstar son, James Mustapic as he captains the first Late Night Line Up for 2026.

Melbourne’s rising comedy star, Henry Yan (2023 RAW Comedy Winner) kicks off the night, followed by Tāmaki Makaurau’s hilarious Liv McKenzie (7Days, Have You Been Paying Attention NZ?) and uniquely talented storyteller Jack Ansett (Taskmaster, 7Days).

FRIDAY 13 MARCH

MCs - Bridie & Rebecca (The Bridie & Rebecca Variety Show)

ACTS

Nicola Brown (Dunedin Comedy Awards 2021)

Sadomusical  (UK/Canada/Netherlands)

Hoani Hotene (2025 Billy T Award Winner)

Charming and ludicrous in equal measures, Bridie and Rebecca (Tāmaki Makaurau) will MC the **** out of this Friday 13th line up. Audiences will be taken on a journey by the incisive and wry observations of Ōtepoti’s award winning comedian Nicola Brown, Billy T 2025 winner Hoani Hotene (Ngāti Haua, Tāmaki Makaurau) and the critically acclaimed Sadomusical (UK, Canada, Netherlands) - an “astonishingly funny” improv comedy marrying the musical and the sadomasochistic.

THURSDAY 19 MARCH

MC - Alan McElroy

ACTS

Oliver Pol

Dr Jo Prendergast

Coro

MC and Irish “energiser bunny” Alan McElroy (Best MC 2024, NZ Comedy Awards) will drag you kicking and screaming (with laughter) through this eclectic comedy taste tester. Youngish, tallish certified silly goose Oliver Pol will bring the energy, while Dr Jo Prendergast delivers toxic positivity meets TED talk. We will also be treated to a comedic reboot of Coro, fresh from a sold-out run at Edinburgh Fringe!

FRIDAY 20 MARCH

MC - Lily Catastrophe

ACTS

Alan McElroy

Harriet Moir

Raybon Kan

The final Late Night Line Up for 2026 will be nothing short of electric with award-winning comedian and burlesque performer Lily Catastrophe on the mic as MC. The line-up is comprised of Irish agent of chaos Alan McElroy, crowd favourite Ōtepoti comedian Harriet Moir and Kiwi comedy icon Raybon Khan (voted best comedian by Metro Magazine and North & South).
