Pub Tales is an evening of musical comedy by storyteller Chris Sainton-Clark. Chris has consolidated his experiences of working behind bars and in hospitality and has transformed them into hilariously sharp, witty and satirical songs that insightfully poke fun at British pub culture and toxic masculinity in a tongue-in-cheek way.

Chris’ songs are lyric-heavy, bordering on rap at points. Athough they‘re full of spoken-word poetry, Chris’ songs are essentially very silly and are relatable to anyone who’s worked in hospitality or spent any time in a pub.

In the couple of years since Chris started writing these songs, he has sold out his first comedy club performance as well as completely selling out last year's New Zealand tour. He has successfully been able to demonstrate that even though his songs are quintessentially British, international audiences still love his work and relate to the characters he sings about.
