Amped Music Project

Amped Music Project is a free music mentorship programme that aims to encourage and empower high school aged young musicians in safe, supportive and fun spaces. We meet up on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in August and early September each year for a series of practical workshops and all-ages gigs, with guest artists, techs and tutors from Ōtepoti Dunedin's music community. NZ Young Writers Festival

Held in the heart of Dunedin – UNESCO City of Literature, proudly produced by Dunedin Fringe – takes place from Thursday 12 - Sunday 15 September 2024. The festival is by young writers, for young writers, and welcomes writers (aged 15-35) of all kinds to celebrate a diverse range of wordsmithing including slam poetry, playwriting, songwriting, short fiction, novels, zines, screenwriting, poetry, journalism, blogging, critical content creation, podcasts, review writing, and more.
