Wheelchair / Accessible Access

This venue is wheelchair accessible via the main entrance and the doors are easy to open. There is no limit on the number of wheelchair seats; seats are not fixed, so can be moved to accommodate wheelchair users. There are no stairs at this venue.

The entrance is 1460mm when both doors are open, and 730mm when one door is open.

Bathrooms

There is a wheelchair-accessible gender-neutral bathroom at this venue. It can be accessed through a doorway that is 820mm wide, and the bathroom door is 750mm wide. The dimensions of the bathroom are 1600mm by 1900mm.

Approach to Venue

The Community Gallery is located at 20 Princes St. Entry to the venue is from the footpath and there are no steps. Availability of parking can be an issue, but there are five-minute parks nearby (outside the Octagon Night & Day, on the Princes St side) which can be used for pick-up and drop-off and an accessible park across the street.

Service Dogs

Service dogs are welcome.

Content Notes

Any use of strobe lighting will be signposted at the venue, as will any atmospheric effects (eg haze).
