Wheelchair / Accessible Access
This venue is wheelchair accessible via the main entrance. There are double doors into the venue; when one door is open, the entrance is 730mm, and when both are open, the entrance is 1460mm. One door has a lever handle and can be opened by a person in a wheelchair but the second door is snibbed.
There are twenty stairs between the front door and the theatre entrance, which are regular in height and depth. The stairs can be bypassed with a stair lift, which is rated for a maximum weight of 185kg. The stair lift must be operated by venue staff.
The entrance to the theatre is also through double doors, with the same dimensions as the entrance to the building.
One or two wheelchair seats can be made available in the front row, depending on the layout of the venue for any given performance. Please note this when booking a ticket.
Bathrooms
There is a wheelchair accessible gender-neutral bathroom in this venue. The bathroom door is sliding with a lever handle and the doorway is 780mm. The dimensions of the accessible bathroom are 1900mm by 1600mm.
Approach to Venue
The entrance to this venue is cobblestone.
There is reserved accessible parking available by the Business School, and vehicles can pull up to the front door for pick-up and drop-off. There are reserved parks available right outside the venue; if you contact the venue, they should be able to ensure that one is free.
There is public transport available nearby.
