Dunedin Fringe is committed to supporting the development and presentation of new work and to assist with production costs. If you meet the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply for a Fringe Artist Grant.
The demand for Fringe Artist Grants is always high. We strongly advise artists to apply for funding from several different sources to support their projects and are happy to provide additional advice.
Due to reduced amounts of funding, unfortunately Dunedin Fringe has less Artist Grant funding to distribute this year. If your request is large and there are multiple projects our grant panels want to support, they may choose to part-fund your project.
Please drop us a line to discuss your application before submitting it.
Other Funding Options
Check out the Other Funding Options Section in the 2025 Dunedin Fringe Registration Pack to find out where else you may be able to source funds.
