An interactive collaborative art experience featuring works from Ōtepoti artists and creatives Jess Covell, Emma Johansson and Yuko Shimada, Chris Miller and Lee Nicolson.

Immerse yourself in the interactive dating experience Hello Stranger 3: Hologram Edition! Can you solve the puzzles to summon a holographic Odin?
Challenge your visual perception with a sculptural fibre installation. Interact with friends, or strangers, jamming out on a series of newly invented/reimagined instruments.

OPENING NIGHT:
See a LIVE soundtrack performed by Ōtepoti musicians on newly invented instruments, created for the show, as the first people play Hello Stranger 3: Hologram Edition!

Summon a holographic Odin by finding the code hidden within artworks in the show; will you find it yourself or garner help from the crowd? A truly unique experience for all present.

Opening Friday 14 March 6pm - 9pm, with performances and crowd participation from 6.30pm - 7.30pm.

The show will be open to the public for further viewing March 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 and 22 between 10am and 2pm.

SATURDAY 15 MARCH
Your opportunity to create a musical instrument from new and salvaged materials under the guidance of two tutors, Lee Nicolson of Re:Gear Library and Chris Miller. The workshop offers an insight to the artists’ work as well as local e-waste startup Re:gear.

SUNDAY 16 MARCH
Learn and share the fibre art practice of tufting with Jess Covell: carpet making with power tools.
Attendees will have the opportunity to create their own tufted piece; either their own design or a design from a template provided - provided templates will be inspired by the artist's work and will incorporate taoka species and pattern making.

*All materials will be provided and no prior knowledge is required.

**Recommend 10+; parental guidance for those under 15yrs.
