Sea Shanties & Salty Stories : Dunedin Fringe Festival

Sea Shanties & Salty Stories

Music Theatre Sound/Audio

Tall tales and salty shanties from the briny bottom of the sea.

See tickets below

Ahoy citizens, sailors, landlubbers and whale lovers! Cap'n Spoonbill and the Hoiho have come ashore to share with you the saltiest sea shanties and prettiest melodies from the high seas.

Dredged from the stormy depths of the South Pacific, this 4-strong vocal and instrumental group promises to get you foot- stomping and shouting ‘Ho!’ like the baddest pirate you know

You will be collected by Cap'n Spoonbill & The Hoiho on the shores of Port Chalmers and whisked away across the seven seas. Time will stand still as the mystery of the deep is brought to life through the magic of song and story. After this long and arduous journey (30 minutes) you will be returned to Port Chalmers to re-start your life as a landlubber!

You don't have to sing but by Poseidon's trident you're definitely welcome to join in.
