Community Pride Workshop

Beat your mug and play with slap at Dunedin Pride Makeup Club. A fun and inclusive group for people of all ages and genders.

Ōtepoti | Dunedin

Come help co-design Ōtepoti's first takatāpui and rainbow makeup group.

Makeup Club is a safe and inclusive space for people of all ages and genders, led by Dunedin Pride.

We invite you to join us at the Dunedin Pride x Fringe Hub, where we will workshop what we want this Club to be and how it will operate. We'll let our imaginations run wild! It's an exciting exercise in collaborative design, where we'll get hands on with some makeup as we plan the Club's first season.

A big part of Makeup Club is creating a space that affirms and celebrates diverse genders. Somewhere it's easy to try new things, learn from peers and create new connections. You might be stepping into the basics or be a seasoned professional, a drag king or queen, an artist or an exlporer, or perhaps you want to observe, support and learn.

This space is open to people in the takatāpui and rainbow community, and all our gorgeous allies. Come take part!
