You're Not Pretty... But I Love You centres mostly around Sandra's relationship with her mum growing up and the complexities faced living through different cultures with hilarious situational examples. This is a comedy with heart, taking audiences with her on her story of self-discovery and the consequent strengthening of the bond with her mum through understanding and acceptance of her journey.

The show is a love letter to all, to enjoy and embrace who we are, as we are. It is a feel-good, reflective and side-splittingly funny show that anyone who has been raised in different cultures can relate and laugh to.

Laugh or cringe as you are introduced to Sandra's life growing up in London with a Portuguese mother and a family with their own blend of crazy. You're Not Pretty... But I Love You is a show about the hilarious situations that come with surviving two cultures, navigating relationships and embracing your true self, even a Mediterranean mother with no filter. The title of the show is a true quote from Sandra’s mum. If you have a messy family, and you think My Big Fat Greek Wedding is a documentary,  you are her people, and this is your show.

Sandra Pace is a Brit/Kiwi full-time comedian and actor. She has a sold out breakthrough show Yeah Nah Pavlova under her belt which debuted at the NZ International Comedy Festival 2024 and showcased at The Melbourne Comedy Fest 2025. Her first self-written, produced and performed stand-up show You’re Not Pretty...But I Love You is currently on a nationwide tour, following sold out launches in Auckland and the Waikato, NZ.

Sandra Pace is becoming a fast-rising star in comedy... even if her mum tells her otherwise. Come and see why fans are saying:

"Hands down the funniest comedy I've ever been to."
"Haven't laughed that hard in a long time with tears dripping down my face."
"Side-splittingly funny show."
