Directing a struggling new circus act is hard work, the financials, the festivals, the venues, the murders...

When director Sam arrives for a show, only to find the star act has been slaughtered in their caravan, she comes to the grizzly conclusion that the murderer must be in the building (tent).

There’s no other option than to press on with the rag-tag remains of her cast and keep the audience enthralled until the police are done chasing sheep off the highway.

This circus*-murder-mystery-comedy has all the elements of show-must-go-on style play, folded into a real-time whodunnit. The small cast creates an immersive experience that blends comedy with mystery and keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.

Brought to you by the team behind Rubber Gloves, the multi award-winning Nelson Fringe Festival show (2025).
