The Bard + Garden Party = The Barden Party!

The Barden Party, a vintage troupe of traveling troubadours, presents a musical, raucous version of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Imagine real fairies causing mischief and running around a garden!

3 words: Music, Mischief, Magic.

Our cheeky version of The Dream is laced with popular songs arranged as folk ditties. Expect to be delighted by George Michael, Hall and Oates, Britney Spears, Billie Eilish and more all expertly woven through the show.
This show is rocking and ridiculously hilarious. Very accessible professional Shakespeare, definitely like you've never seen it. Ages 5+ welcome!

Our show set up means it's so easy to travel! For Dunedin Fringe, we have two public events for anyone and everyone AND we are also available to perform in private gardens for your friends and family! Get in touch to set up a private showing.
