OutStanding Comedy Lineup is a loud, proud, riotously funny celebration of LGBTQI+ comedy at Dunedin Fringe 2026.

Hosted by multi-award-winning comedians Deadpan Drama Queen Nicola Brown and Charming Chaos Captain Lily Catastrophe, this showcase unites Fringe’s wild, witty and wonderful LGBTQI+ comedians from Aotearoa and beyond.

Across two fabulous nights – one in each week of Fringe – audiences get a fresh rotation of razor-sharp stand-up, smart storytelling, and whatever queer chaos unfolds.

Sunday 15 March 6pm – 7pm
Featuring: Lily Catastrophe, Meg Hartigan, Troubadette, Nicola Brown & James Mustapic

Thursday 19 March 6pm – 7pm
Featuring: Lily Catastrophe, Marea Colombo, Holly O'Shea, Victor Victorious, Nicola Brown & Ray Shipley

Mystery guest appearances are possible both nights! Anything could happen.

OutStanding is comedy as community: a celebration of identity, visibility, resilience and righteous joy. In a world increasingly resembling a dreadfully scripted dystopian reboot, this is a space for LGBTQI+ audiences (and allies with excellent taste) to laugh loudly, relate deeply, and feel gloriously seen.

Whether you're a comedy nerd, a rainbow-flag-wearing aficionado, or simply overdue for an evening without doomscrolling, OutStanding Comedy Lineup is where you belong.

This is the world premiere, and these entirely imaginary early reviews are already rolling in:
“Not sure what it is yet, but I’m going. Twice.”
“I laughed so hard at the trailer that doesn’t exist.”
“Six stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Please give these people a HUGE grant.”
