From an English country castle, where the quest began, to the heat of Luxor, where dreams of a dig were realised, this film is a personal impression of one man in pursuit of the find of his life. Interviews and eye-witness material from four seasons in the Valley of the Kings are threaded with cabaret interludes from Sue Casson and the Brannick Academy.
