The media and the world often portray a lack of Non-binary and Genderqueer people, and when they are featured, they are treated as rare, mysterious, dark beings. The drag world also falls victim to this, with it being very Drag Queen orientated (We love you Queens), but Drag also gives us the platform to protest this.

With a variety of Drag in Ōtepoti it is time to celebrate those outside of the binary!

Join us for a night of artistic protest! Us Drag Cryptids are shrugging off our mysteriousness and taking the main stage. Through comedy, horror and seduction, you will experience what it is like to be Nonbinary and Genderqueer. If you are a Non-binary and Genderqueer Cryptid yourself, join us in celebration of setting the gender binary on fire and dancing around it as our beautiful, mysterious selves.

What kind of Cryptids will you meet? Come and find out!
