“Have you ever woken up in the night because you thought someone was calling your name, but in that split second before you open your eyes, you realise it was just part of your dream?”

Here for a strictly limited Fringe debut season, Adeline's Cottage follows Henry as he returns to his sister’s home for the first time since her passing.

Her cottage, tucked in a small pocket of rural Wellington, has been left behind after her death. The cobwebs, mildew, and shadows have taken over this once warm home and now Henry must brave the painful memories to pack up her belongings. Will his search for closure amount to anything, or will he get stuck in the web of grief he discovers?

ACE Productions – a team of emerging artists from Ōtepoti – are excited to share this story that pulls on the heartstrings and highlights the importance of showing our love to the ones we care about. The work was written, directed, and performed by a talented crew of locals who are thrilled to be part of the Steps Beyond mini season in Allen Hall Theatre.

Get your tickets quick as Adeline’s Cottage graces the stage for three wonderful nights of fun, chaos, and magic.

Warning for strong language, discussions of grief and brief mention of child loss.
