Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland

In the Access:Happiness workshop, you'll be taught groundbreaking techniques that give you direct, authentic, and repeatable access to the emotion of Happiness.

Get into your body and discover ease, openness, joy, and relaxation on a purely physical basis.

Actor, performance artist and acting coach Hamish Annan brings his award-winning interactive performance Access to Dunedin Fringe. Access explores human connection and emotional vulnerability, and uses an innovative performance technique of physical access to emotion without relying on memory or personal history. In Access:Happiness, Hamish teaches you the secrets behind this show.

You do not need to be an actor to participate in this workshop. However, this workshop is perfect for creatives and performing artists, people looking to expand their yoga and meditation practices, or anyone that wants to explore what a bit more happiness looks like in their life.

Important information:

  • This workshop has limited numbers, so book quickly.

  • It is a physical workshop, so you'll need to wear comfortable clothing to move in and bring a water bottle. If you have an injury or physical restrictions, get in touch with our team to see if this is right for you.

  • We are accessing emotions. While we are working with Happiness, other emotions might come up, so be mindful and treat yourself kindly. The techniques are safe, and Hamish will guide your experience, but you are responsible for your physical and emotional well-being throughout the workshop.
