The Dunedin Fringe Festival runs a performance space in its front window and we're currently taking applications.
The Black Box performance space runs two shows everyday of the Fringe at 7pm and 9pm. Black Box is our office front window and acts perform to people walking by on the pavement outside. We have a small PA so performers have the ability to plug in instruments and use our microphones for the audience outside to hear.
We welcome applications from Fringe Groups and non-Fringe Groups. The type of performance is completely up to you, as long as it’s suitable for a public performance. It can be a good opportunity to promote your Fringe show.
Fill out this short application form to apply to perform at the Black Box.
In the new year, we will assess all applications, schedule them into available slots and, if you are successful, send you the dates and time of your performance.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to drop us an email at operations@dunedinfringe.nz or call the office on +64 3 477 3350.
