MOA Love Letters is a 45 minute autobiographical dub poetry Procul Harum to New Zealand by Love Activist Dance live art company. Which charts and celebrates the power of the feminine that dub dance poet Naomi Sioux ( www.loveactivistdance.com) took to return to her spiritual home Aoaterea over 13 moons across 7 continents a Windrush(re)Fugee.

MOA Love Letters is about human positive intention, connectioned-ness breaking down societal barriers, to flow, flock migrate and return to new known territories. It's a tale of hope, transformation and rebirth. MOA Love Letters is a performance of 16 poems told with a steel drum ,loop pedal and dynamic and MOA inspired dynamic movement to tunes by Velvet Underground, Willy Nelson, Singor Ros, Leftfield,and Fat Freddy's Drop, of the journey made by Naomi Sioux. MOA Love Letters is an invitation for Pan Atlantic to Pacifica experience as Whenua , guided by our own unique identities and double consciousness of a higher love in convergence.


Seeded on 21 December 2018 and made NZ shores on 20/02/2020. MOA Love Letters has so far been developed and reached Aoteroera through a process of (16 years of) Live Art exchange for Koha. This latest 70 whale journey embodied the UK France, Estonia,Finland,Czechia and was last shown at the one one six theatre Whangerei to through the creation of a Creative Residencies in response to covid 19 in June 2020.
