Fringe’s first sellout and two event cancellations
Film-fans may be disappointed to learn that the mysterious film event The Odeon – Drive In Cinema has already sold out.
The one-night-only ‘cinematic resurrection’ caught the public’s curiosity in the days following our programme launch on 8 March. The rapid sales can most likely be attributed to the secrecy surrounding the event, coupled with its connection to Dunedin’s cultural past and a strictly limited capacity.
We’ve unfortunately had to confirm the cancellation of two events that were originally included in our 2017 programme- Riding in Cars with (Mostly Straight) Boys, and Maya & Torakiti, the street-performing ‘ninjya cats’. No performances of either show will take place, and any tickets purchased will be fully refunded.
