Club Nights are back at the Dunedin Fringe Festival 2018 – four nights of music exclusively curated for our audiences, designed to stroke the soul and wake the dance floor.  From 10pm Friday and Saturday nights at the Emerson’s Festival Club – come on  get up and get down.

March 9th: The Beat Skips

The Beat Skips were born to make you dance and forget your burdens.

Playing live versions of DJ remixes of live songs, expect house music beats coupled with jazz and funk backbones on top of classic tunes.

March 10th: Summoned//Syphoned
Showcasing local Ōtepoti musicians, Summoned//Syphoned explores the push and pull of sound and experience. Curated by Radio One’s Music director Erin Broughton, Summoned//Syphoned opens with a Black Box performance by Eliana Gray and Broughton at 9pm. Musical performances commence at the Festival Club from 10pm. Let yourself be drawn into the new shape of our local sound.”

March 16th: The Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra
Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra is Dunedin’s premiere Big Band led by Jazz Legend Calder Prescott MNZM. We play regularly at venues and functions around Dunedin and Otago as well as occasional visits further afield to festivals such as Montreux and the Big Band Blast. The band specialises in the music of the great bands of the swing era as well as playing Funk and Latin numbers too. Great for dancing to or just enjoying the sounds with a drink.

Occurring as a semi regular event in different incarnations, club six is a dance party bringing together a mix of live acts, djs and visual enhancements. Music to move, music to be moved by…what time is love? http://manorclubsix.blogspot.co.nz/
