Local Outsider Artist Philip Lomas invites you to delve into his imagination and join us on an impressively unpredictable adventure. This family-friendly, playful puppet experience takes us out of the everyday and throws us into an intergalactic escapade where aliens, astronauts, robots, and pirates collide. Embark on a journey with the great captain Jolly Rogers and his pirate crew as their simple daily treasure hunt takes an unlikely turn. Another worldly space creature named P.P.E is in grave danger and calls on earthlings to save the day. In an event of serendipity, Captain Jolly and his pirate crew stumble upon this desperate cry for help… and although very disarrrrghppointed in the absence of treasure, they bravely answer the call. Captain Jolly leads his pirate crew to where no Pirate has ever gone before. Naturally, a fish out of water encounters a few problems. The pirates are met with all kinds of unfathomable obstacles but with their fingers tightly crossed they might just overcome them and salvage the situation in outer space. Where themes, characters and plot have developed out of the passionate drawings of Lomas, a blending of creative exploration comes to life in the story of An Intergalactic Space Pirates Puppet Show.
