Inspired by the musical Dance Dance Revolution, GASP! Dance Inclusive presents Dance Revolution Dance. Once upon a time, in a future world, on a planet far, far away, dancing has been banned for decades, a rule enforced by the 'No Fun Police'. But the people can no longer stop the tapping of their feet, the swaying of their hips and the bobbing of their heads. The dance revolutionaries rise up from the shadows to challenge the 'No Fun Police', and bring back the beats. Gasp! Dance Inclusive is a group of dancers with a diverse range of abilities who love to create and perform. Inclusive dance, also known as integrated dance, is part of the disability culture movement, which recognises and celebrates the first-person experience of disability. Inclusive dance choreographers have high artistic expectations of all dancers with an emphasis on exploring dancers' unique ways of moving. Inclusive dance not only embraces diversity but thrives on it.
